The “howto”

  1. Open your MS Word document
  2. Save As a new name – you don’t want to be in the position of not being able to recover, should things go awry.
  3. Press the key combination “Ctrl+H” – control + “h”
  4. You will see a prompt appear called “Find and Replace”
  5. Click the “Replace” tab.
  6. In “Find what:” type ‘^p^p’ – without the single quote.
  7. In “Replace with:” type ‘^p’ – without the single quote.
  8. Click “Replace All”
  9. Save your document.
